Nu Shooz have postponed their Kung Pao Kitchen Record Release & Listening Party after Valerie Day had to undergo an emergency appendectomy last Sunday evening. She says she is doing great and we wish her a speedy recovery!
The release party is set to be held at the same place, the Lucky Strike in Portland, Oregon, and the date will be announced soon.

In the twenty-five years it took to make Kung Pao Kitchen the project has been plagued by floods, gear meltdowns, a cancelled record contract, band breakup, creative differences, marital strife, new management, mold, mildew, cancer, the AOL-Time merger, changing musical tastes, and now…(drum roll please…) Valerie’s Appendix.
